Dani Somma’s fascination with horses began as far back as she can remember. This thread followed her through life, however, it wasn’t until years later that she began to understand that there was a spiritual component to being with horses. Seeking a deeper connection with these sentient beings and a desire to find inner peace she completed The Reflective Horse Mastery® Program in 2021, which opened the doorway to the most transformative journey of her life.

The call of the Wild Mustangs was the next entry point to her evolution with horses. She began volunteering at a Mustang rescue in Ojai, CA where she met her soulmate, Luna. They have since embarked on a spiritual quest together. She and Luna moved to Flag Ranch, a free-roaming horse/human collaboratory, where she deepened her understanding of the true healing capacity of being with horses. Guided by these master teachers, she began to tap into her inner wisdom to heal horses and realized her innate ability to gentle Wild Mustangs and colts using only her intuition, deep listening, and telepathic abilities. She discovered that leading with an open heart was the key to building trust and deep relationships.

Dani has been on a long journey to heal from past trauma, Lyme disease, and the effects that psychiatric drug withdrawal had on her nervous system. Unknowingly, this was a gift that not only led her to the horses but her true reclamation of self as a medicine woman and intuitive healer. Her program, The Lyrical Gypsy, was birthed from this lived experience. She discovered that the earth and its horse allies hold the power to both alchemize and hold the container to help humans heal, ultimately leading us back to our hearts, to our center, to our inner knowing...back HOME to our true nature.

Dani and her mustangs, Luna and Enver, live on magical land in Georgia, where peace and serenity abound. Her work encompasses the modalities she used to heal herself including earth-based rituals, meditation, sound healing, somatic movement, Equine Guided Empowerment® and Somatic Reprogramming.
