Sumaya is the founder of Equine Insights, an equine guided education practice in southwest Colorado. After earning a PhD in education, co-founding an innovative school, serving as mayor of a small town and teaching philosophy to undergraduates, Sumaya found her true calling in the field of equine guided education. She now weaves together her passion for education and her deep connection to horses by partnering with her herd to facilitate powerful growth experiences for her clients. Sumaya lives with her husband Jason and her two teenage boys on ranch in Crested Butte, Colorado.
