With Soleiana Abernathy - TRH Practitioner and Five Element Acupuncturist, hosting alongside her free-roaming herd at her ranch in Wyoming, under the Wind River mountains.
Somatic Riding® is a catalyst to recognizing the power of true partnership with horses. As humans we can easily get caught up in conditioned patterns of thinking, loosing sense of our true embodied intelligence, overriding feelings and our deeper sense of knowing and trust in ourselves. We do to horses what we ourselves have experienced or been trained to think, and will often resort to over-riding them, when we are not in tune with our intuitive self and listening in to the horse as a sensitive, free being.
Through this fresh, insight-based lens, we acknowledge that horses are not born to be ridden, nor put on this earth for our gratification. It is through our actions as trustworthy, self-honoring, non-dominant leaders, able to safely own and dismantle our shadow sides; courageous enough to re-write our stories of past relationship, that the horse becomes a master teacher, guiding us back to our authentic and harmonious state. Over time the horse may honor this congruence enough to allow us to ride upon their backs and commune with them in an act of free will.
At this experiential clinic you will:
Deepen your connection with your embodied self, both on the ground and with your horse.
Transform your relationship with self, horses, and all beings.
Ground into true embodiment and 're-member' through Somatic Reprogramming® practices.
Tune into your senses and intuition; the gut-feeling from where free-roaming horses naturally reside.
Deeply listen and orientate your communication toward flow, congruency and harmony.
Recognize freedom is a choice; through awareness of systemic subjugation and control that limits ours and our horses self-expression.
Inspire the remembrance that all partnerships flourish through self-honoring, self-awareness and self-acceptance.
Reprogram away from techniques and the egos perfectionism and expectation.
Be in deep communion with the physical and the sensate; the sacred Yes and No.
Connect to herd intelligence, deeply listening in to multiple layers and dimensions of awareness.
Dates: Friday May 17th - Sunday 19th, 2024. Begins 3pm on Friday; Ends 3pm on Sunday.
Location: Table Mountain Ranch, Lander, Wyoming.
Exchange: $750 USD guests w/horses. $400 USD guests auditing.
Guests w/Horses: Boarding for horses attending the clinic are available at Table Mountain Ranch (*contact Soleiana 307-349-6120)
Guests Auditing: Auditors observe the entire clinic and participate in all person-to-person somatic practices
Lodging: Lander (15 mins to ranch.)
Capacity: There are openings for 6 guests with their own horses, and 6 guests auditing.
