Horsewomanship is based upon the energetic signature of the lead-mare; the female horse who is the direction setter for the herd. Her relational, inclusive, confident and direct demeanor magnetizes the herd purely through her presence and ability to respond from her grounding. She instills safety and is the center of harmony within the herd. These characteristics are those of the feminine archetype, a way of being that is intrinsic to our nature as women, and in the feminine aspect of men. This ethos is based in self-honoring relationship, rather than fear-based training and dominance over, which appears within all traditional horsemanship technique with a do-what-I-say attitude. In understanding the energetic dynamics of horses and emulating them through Somatic practices, we recognize the power of true communication and peaceful, playful partnership with horses. As humans we easily get caught up in conditioned patterns of thinking, loosing sense of our true embodied intelligence, overriding feelings and our deeper sense of knowing and trust in ourselves. These sessions will attune you through exploration of your energetic field, and through somatic embodiment, realign you through the herd, with your intuitive, empowered and sovereign self.
